The streak is over...

In disbelief, but the way the team played today, like so many times during the season, only this time we couldn't pull one back. Next match is the Manchester derby.... must win at Old Trafford. However, if history repeats itself, we could win the Treble this year considering the last time the team went unbeaten 29games in the league, we won the treble. Awesome.

Broken Clocks

I find this quite true... "Even a broken clock is right twice a day" [Quoted from L. Tran]. So even if you feel down, useless and broken, you are still making a difference in someone's life. So keep smiling and never give up.

Happy Chinese New Years

Happy Chinese New Years everybody!

Gong hay fat choi! Sun leen fai lok!

Today in Toronto was the so called blizzard. Nothing really. I guess Canadians are really not used to seeing snow up here or something, to be afraid of upto 30cm of snow.

A Little Sense of Accomplishment

I finally wrote up an updated version of my resume from scratch after finding a job posting at Rogers Media as a marketing intern. Since it's in my field of expertise, I figure I give it a shot and hope to have an interview. It is now in the process of getting read through by some awesome people for any errors. I have posted a version on my website www.kevinyeung.ca for any potential employers.

I also had the difficulty of fixing up the website too, which caused a couple of headache but it's solved for the time being. I'm extremely mentally exhausted and its only 6pm from the 3hr power nap last night.

Commitment

It's been a month already and I have kept my commitment to this blog so far, lets hope for it to continue for the months ahead :)

This situation is very very tempting. I have researched about the airline industry and even though I am still wanting to obtain a pilot license at some point in my life to fulfill my dream of being able to fly anywhere and see the world through my eyes. But today, "Flight Attendant" comes up as a possible career choice. Yes, there may be a stigma of it being a woman's job, but the job description most airlines are looking for today do not specify females only. Coincidentally, I have a couple of friends who are flight attendants for Air Canada here in Toronto, and from what I've seen and heard from them is that its really really awesome and life changing. Not only are the perks being amazing (discounted travel), but you get to work with wonderful people and meet new people every time on the job. It is not a 9-5 boring job, but one that offers different challenges and opportunities every day. With that, I will be applying for a position once I have my resume and cover letter all edited and proofread.

Study Sunday

Catching up with school work on a Sunday at Starbucks is tiring. Munched on a peach-raspberry parfait then some Little Caesars pizza. Need to start researching and looking for job opportunities real soon, if I would stop procrastinating.
