A daily blog of Kevin Yeung from Toronto, Canada as I post a blog each day for a year as I transition into my next phase in life after university. What will happen?

Nobody was expecting it...
I went up there, said my speech, got almost what I wanted, but still good result considering the circumstances I was under. Luckily I took the 407 today, was so quick getting there.
Kaberle has been finally traded by the Leafs. Wow, like we were all expecting something, but when he finally did get traded, I'm going to miss this guy on our team, been a consistent and loyal player for so long. Only upset it was with Boston again, AGAIN like why?? Why does Burke only trade with the Ducks and the Bruins....sigh.

Maybe a bit of luck
Hoping for it. Getting ready for bed and it's only quarter to nine. A long drive tomorrow (sortof) and hopefully not too much traffic.

Cherish...
Every moment you have and make it worthwhile.
Whether it's one second, minute, hour, day, week, or a month. Every moment help shape us who we are today.
Remember:
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident
Cherish every moment you have.

Images of the past
I don't know why or how, but on my bus ride home today from class I saw an image, well a face that looked really familiar with my past. It looked so like the very first girl I had spent a valentine's day with which made it extremely more weird considering today was the day AFTER valentine's day. I am pretty sure it wasn't her, but that familiarity of a face reminded me of her. Although I have already lost touch with her as it has been a really long time, but I'm sure I will still keep a piece of that with me.

Just like any ordinary day
Feb 14 has always been just like any ordinary day. I'm not bitter or anything, but people do not need one day to shower their loved one(s) with useless (but hopefully meaningful) gifts. Everyday should be a moment like that, so cherish what and who you have, everyday of the year.
Here's a cute video from AJ Rafael, We could Happen.

Raptors won again!
Well not really, but they seem to always win whenever I go attend the game, it's weird.
Saw Blake Griffin up close, sortof, and he did a pretty awesome alley-oop, the fans all cheered.
Lunch at Ju at J-Town today, twas nice as well. Midterm on Thursday, need to start reading, but its all common-sense really.
